2012Luke's Legacy

Luke's Legacy - Sweethearts for SickKids

All funds raised from this 4th annual event will go to the Hospital for SickKids Cardiac Critical Care Unit where Luke Holmes underwent open heart surgery before his first birthday and where staff cared for him with great compassion. 1 in 100 children are born with a congenital heart defect. Luke was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart/Critical Aortic Stenosis.

Money raised from this event was donated to the Alex Corrance Memorial Foundation. This foundation supports the Canadian SADS Foundation (Sudden Arrhythmia Death Syndromes) and London Health Sciences Centre for research into sudden death due to heart rythm abnormalties.

Curl for Kids Charity Auction and Bonspiel

Money rasied from this event was donated to Camp Trillium (childhood cancer support centre) and Halton Woman's Place.

Toys for Tots

ERMS and staff collected and donated gifts to Toys for Tots (Halton Region) and then sent to children in need during the Christmas.
